My client is a household name who prides themselves on making every product personal to the customer, to make them smile, laugh and cry. Although my client is a well-established company they haven’t lost sight of that start-up way of thinking.

Looking for a person who is passionate about working on different & ambitious projects from day 1. A Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to work within the E-commerce team to deliver an outstanding experience for the customers. To utilise all levels of JavaScript from the Frontend Components within React to API’s written in Node.

Essential:

• Frontend JavaScript (ES5), SASS, and CSS3
• Backend Javascript (Node): Express, KOA, Clustering, NPM
• Experience with React, Component-based design, Redux and Webpack
• Experience with node task-runners and front-end packaging tools
• js test frameworks and tools, eg. Mocha, Chai, Jest, Enzyme
• Agile process e.g. Scrum or Kanban.
• Git and GitHub
• Continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI etc

Desirable:

• An understanding of GraphQL
• Experience with modern deployment strategies and architectures, eg. containers, serverless
• Test automation experience
• Knowledge of Java and/or Ruby programming languages and concepts.
• Understanding of cloud based
